2011 Information for Participating Artists

Welcome new and returning artists to the beautiful grounds of Toledo Botanical Garden. To make things easier for everyone involved we are asking you to please, please, please read this information carefully!

Artists may register and set up any time Thursday (6/23) 9 am - 6 pm or Friday (6/24) 9 am - 3:30 pm. If you really want to beat the rush, you may register on Wednesday. You must be set up and ready for lights, camera, action no later than 4:30 pm Friday, at which time we will have dinner available for you to pick up near the picnic area/Artists Lounge. You receive one complimentary dinner with your booth (2 for double booths) and additional tickets are available for $10 ahead of time or that night. You may take your dinner back to your booth, or enjoy our picnic facilities.

You will receive a packet at registration with your dinner tickets, parking passes and other information and goodies, including a booklet on Toledo happenings, attractions and restaurants.

YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SHOW ID AT REGISTRATION.

Friday night's Gala Preview Party begins at 6 pm (but we always have anxious shoppers that sneak in a little early). Your booth should remain open until 9 pm. The party continues until 10 pm and you are welcome to come over to the big tent for snacks and beverages, entertainment and to mingle with our patrons (they think it is really cool to party with the artists) after 9 pm. Also, at any time Friday night, please feel free to visit the cash bars.

You may drive up to your booth before and after Festival hours to restock as needed. Friday night you may drive to your booth after 9 pm. Please be careful, as there may still be guests throughout the grounds.

An air-conditioned shuttle van runs continuously back and forth from the Festival grounds to the artists parking lot throughout the weekend.

There is 24 hour onsite security from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. There is an ATM located in the Conference Center.
